How much is it going to cost to post bail? The Judge sets the bail amount and the defendant then must pay a percentage to the Court for their release. In order to pay the Court directly they must meet credit/qualifications of the Clerk or use a Bail Bonding Company. EMERGENCY BAIL BONDS will get the defendant released with a bail bond and the promise that the defendant will show up for their next court appearance. We will then set you up on an easy pay plan to repay the bond.
Along with the required 10% for the bail bond, there will be a "court/state fee" collected by the Agent. This fee is usually $54 for Misdemeanor Cases and $85 for Felony Cases. There may also be a $25 "reparation fee" for the Public Defender.
The Agent may also charge a "travel fee" depending upon the time of day and/or distance traveled...and..."transaction fees" for any payments made with a credit/debit card. (ALL FEES WILL BE ITEMIZED ON A NUMBERED RECEIPT)
